Modifier — instantly move to top or bottom

Hi,

I'd love to see a simple option to instantly move a modifier to the top or bottom of the stack.

Right now you have to click on a modifier's 'move up' or 'move down' arrow button a number of times, while something like Shift + click on an arrow button could instantly move it to the top or bottom.

Speaking of modifiers, please also have a look at my other modifier suggestion .

Thanks.

lsscpp

Drag behaviour would be even better, just like you can drag panels

* @ Lsscpp * Yep, dragging would be very welcome too, but regarding my wish a one-click-to-top-or-bottom is faster than dragging and scrolling.

* @ Lsscpp * ya...although this has to be implemented hat it gets executed OnRelease, otherwise it ends up being fairly laggy if all the ordering gets reiterated over and over. Pretty sure Dev team knows what they are doing :)

Even better would be if a modifier had a "keep at bottom" option. This would be great in some cases as you want to keep certain modifiers at the bottom so when you add new modifiers you don't need to move them up one click everytime (could not edit my last post)

I'd like do this with right click on modifier and have an option there to move to top/bottom. In 2.8 there is already a right click menu there but there is nothing useful yet.

It is possible to press the move up or down operator once and quickly send the modifier to top or bottom by holding shift-r to repeat the operator

* @proxe * That's a nice workaround for the time being, thanks! 👍

God yes. Using box cutter or hard ops you can end up with a lot of modifiers especially when you start populating the stack with your own. I think it would also be nice to have the option to automatically place some modifiers at the top, things like mirror.

This would probably be fulfilled with this request:
