RCS Cleanup Day - Monthly Community Event
Everyone who regularly visits this board should pick 1 day a month where we all visit at the same time and systematically, starting with the oldest proposals, read them, discuss them, comment on them, up or down vote them.
I suspect a large percentage of old proposals can be quickly identified for deleting, marked as done, marked as in progress, marked as won't-fix / won't-implement, etc.
It would make this community more knowledgeable about what stuff is already in here and help us all avoid more duplicates and tell newcomers exactly what they just made a duplicate of.
We could also edit old proposals to add much needed keywords so that they are more likely to be found in search when someone tries to find a duplicate before they post.

When I was asking to bring us back ability to change status of our own topics and be able to archive them, marks as done, etc. - nothing was happened...
You asking to give you and other active users access to sort of "volunteer" administration functionality, to keep things in good shape. I remember I have told Pablo about same "volunteer" limited functionality administrators somewhere in the comments somewhere in the past, he didn't reply anything to this.
I guess, nothing will happen in this direction now as well. But maybe I'm wrong, let's see...
Nothing will happen from this place, its been like 4 or 5? years already and this place was never took seriously by blender
Top posts stayed there for many years and when some implemented it was because it happened to be aligned with what blender wanted...
They give you this illusion of community but never listen

We need to do a few fixes and changes to RCS before (mainly fix the status not showing for post owners and split proposal status/development status), but it would be a much needed cleanup that I could promote on the live streams. I'll try to make some time for this during this/next week.
Side note, today with Francesco we finally managed to re-deploy the site after many months, there were big libraries/system upgrades that didn't feel safe to do in a rush without time to fix stuff if it didn't go well.
Alright we've finally fixed the bug! Now post creators (and moderators) can change the status of their posts.

Maybe posts that user read or voted should be in different color? And the discuss is hot (new comments) then filtered by this (or just rss/list of new comments?) Anyway the request is probably for the portal devs.

Could we say that "nothing" is happened already? :) This place is dead and pointless, it look like alive but it actually isn't, don't waste your time here guys.
