Auto-hiding unselected f-curves + Auto keying specific axis
A feature I discovered few months ago in sfm is auto hiding all un-selected f-curves in the channels tab.
Currently I need to select a f-curve in the channels tab and manually shift-h to hide all other curves. Then If I want to work on a different axis I will then need to go channels tab select that axis in the channels tab manually shift-h again.
Auto hiding unselected f-curves in the channels tab would be a good QOL change to smooth the workflow.
Auto keying should only insert key frames on the manipulated axis, currently say, when moving the location of an object locked to the x-axis, the auto key will insert key frames for all three x y z axis.
This is a long over-due feature in blender since it requires a lot of manually clean up afterwards sometimes.

For autokeying a specific axis, Blender should already be doing this thanks to the autokey option to Only Insert Needed .
For autohiding curves, I proposed this already here: Graph Editor - Synchronize Channels Selection to Curves Display — Right-Click Select
A little known fact about the graph editor: you can set the unselected curves' opacity. And since a few versions (i think 4.2?) you can set the opacity to zero, effectively hiding unselected curves:
This combined with "only show selected F-curve keyframes" in the preferences, and even with "Only Selected Keyframes Handles" from the graph editor's view menu, makes it easier to work in a clear graph.
However, that's where we feel that Blender wasn't designed with that in mind, especially for animators who work with other softwares designed with this approach. I address those shortcomings in my proposal.
