Workspace groups
I like to have many workspaces in my blender file so I can quickly switch between different parts of blender without having to create new workspaces. Sometimes this can make things cluttered and it would be nice to have workspace grouping just like in google chrome where tabs can be grouped. In the bottom image is a example of how this can be used to group different parts of blender. It would also be nice if you can click on a group and collapse it. Having this change would make blender much more easier for people to manage their workflows.
A new button on the right click menu on tabs called move into group and move into new group would be great.
When creating a new group a popup with a colour and input field could be shown to the user. Here is a example from the collections editor

It sounds like a band-aid solution on a stretched-out hypothetical issue.
How many people really ever need that many different workspaces, all open as tabs, at all times?
At which point do you spend more time managing and switching betweem workspaces and groups versus just opening/closing a workspace or even changing the current workspace?
Blender already have 24 available workspaces by default, yet only half of them are open in the default startup file, and most of them are merely just there to show that they exist so that new users can learn, most people don't use all of these, sometimes not even once in a lifetime.

In summary I see many reasons to do this. Also wit colors for tabs. More.. in outliner (As special display mode) can be tabs, and groups. This same should be for scripts.
In which way tab groups relate to all of these?
For example I duplicating tabs only due have other view in other tab.. then have many tabs. Workspace management can be nice.
