Make easy to close window panels like daz studio
In blender you have to right click choose join areas and then Click to close in DAZ Studio they have this little raised edge in the middle of the edge of the window panel that you click on and it just closes the window PANEL automatically if blender had that little tiny thing it wouldn't really disrupt the interface and you could have a faster workflow

No, you don't HAVE to right click, you can also drag towards the area you want to merge from the small space in the corner, the same way you drag out if you want to make a new one.
You can just close areas by... closing areas. Right-click on any area header, select "Close Area".

Blender works by dividing/merging areas, not opening/closing. And when merging: you need to specify how things are merged.
