Themeable Local View
Hi! The title says it all. There is literally no way to know you're in Local View except via the Overlays text. The "Better Local View"add-on offers a workaround by temporarily changing the theme settings however, since themes are global, it breaks as soon as more than one viewport is detected. It would be great if Blender's Theme allowed us to change the "Local View" look!

I think that if the importance of noticing if we're in Local View is so big, then we shouldn't leave this to the theme creators. It should just be prominent, period.
Also, it should be more accessible then, like a gizmo on the right side next to the camera and zoom controls.
I agree about the gizmo, though the risk is to overload the UI with those big icons. So maybe their visibility could be toggleable in Preferences? I’m also fine if it isn’t user-customizable, but I still think the viewport should change its appearance somehow. It even reminds me of another idea I suggested earlier: blender.community/c/rightclickselect/kOAN/
