Destructive extrude additional type (aside from the original)

Hello guys. I would like to propose an additional destructive extrude type. The original one is the most important but it would also be nice to have this option to not totally remove the outer edges but only extrude the inner plane and automatically cut where it is placed.

Thanks.

It might be better to add this to the discussion on the top "Destructive Extrude" suggestion as it's more likely to be noticed.

Not extrude, but push pull

it's patented by sketchup and it will end by 2020, i saw it was already implemented as a patch for 2.81, not sure if the devs are aware of this but if not someone has to make sure it won't cause a problem for them, there are already addons who do this with no problem but to be in the official version they might need someone expert in this matter before making any commits.

* @zedkorp * interesting, Zbrush has a "destructive extrude" functionality, I wonder if they have more defining features that got around that.

* @zedkorp * totally stupid patent and already told in the same subject and answered. if you can do it in Blender what patent. blender is not working the same as sketchup, so it will never be the same. it is implemented in design spark 2015 and then space claim. in fusion. and many other CAD. extrusion and inverted extrusion already exists in Blender. it just the suppression of the surface along that you can implement into any addon and so Blender can decide to use it too.
