Add back Data-block Remap operation in the Outliner

In the master, so for the 3.3, a commit have been merged that remove the Data-block Remap operation from the Outliner.

The incriminated commit is : developer.blender.org/rB30534deced8 And reverting it would be nice.

I saw lots of people asking over time to just replace the enum menu by a classic search user menu.

Even if no update is made on it, keeping it like it was is better than removing it.

Marking this as Done.

A proposal on how to improve the Outliner's data context menu would be very welcome.

This feature is huge time saver especially after doing some changes in a library - for example after renaming a linked material you just import it and remap all the existing "users", so the old material is replaced by the renamed one - for all the items (objects) at once. Without this feature we will need to go though all the objects and update each one by one ... that just doesn't make any sense - it is unecessarily time consuming and error prone.

But why to remove such useful feature in the first place? Just because it is "very advanced"? If you apply such logic globally, the half of Blender would need to be removed.

If you find it confusing, then why not just tweak the UI to make it more clear?

If you don't provide any alternative or at least a workaround for the lost functionality, than thank you in advance for reverting this ...

Jan, an advanced user.

In stead of reverting, please help the community to come up with a solution that solved the mentioned issues. (Unclarity and very advanced, potential can do harm). There should be a more friendly way how to solve this?

I'm not sure what was the problem with that functionnality, I always found it clear of what it do even if the way it's presented have an issue (use a enum list rather than the id user search menu)

It should be reverted in the first place, so the functionality is not lost, then there should be a discussion about how to improve the UI, so it isn't confusing anymore.
