Copy-->Paste linked parameter
What I propose and what Blender need is Copy-->Paste linked parameter. In Blender, it called "Driver". But to set up a "Driver" is real-time consuming and hard comparing to how it works in Houdini. You just copy and paste whatever you want in where ever you want.
Also, it's not obvious with the "Copy data path". I try to copy the parameter from one array modifier and past it in another array modifier parameter driver. I didn't know that "USER" must type "[0]","[1]" or "[2]" at the end of a string to specify which float(vector) user wants
and where are the "Copy data path" for "Dimensions". It didn't exist. You can't do it like other parameters. You have to google it to know how to set up it.
I try to create a "cylinoid" mesh with origin in the center of the object. For that, I use a stack of modifiers with simple mesh in the base.
I thought that I simply use a displace modifier bu Y vector with half of the "bounding box"(Dimensions) parameter.
But somehow it's not working as simple as that. You need to copy instance and further work only on instance object.
I create an example how it's working right now.

You can already Copy As Driver and Paste Driver
* @Josephbburg * Beat me to it! I had a full on conniption when I first discovered this :D
* @Wahooney * Drivers are so much more pleasant to use in 2.8. Although, I wonder if this guy is asking for drivers to be duplicated along with the object? That's something else actually.
* @Josephbburg * Yeah, it already exists, with command "Copy as New Driver". I don't know that. But you can't do that with "Dimensions"(Bonding box). And it's updating with a bug, that I mentioned previously in the post.
Compared to the Houdini approach it's much to improve.
And you must to do a little work to be possible to make math in the socket.
Maybe it's better to open a new topic for improvements Blender drivers.
* @Vasil Matsuk * The Dimensions isn't a property of the object, it's calculated on the fly. If you want a driver to operate on that, you'll need to use a bit of math and some Python, more than likely.
To be clear, you weren't asking for drivers to be duplicated along with duplicated objects?
Anyhow, some proposals you may want to look at: blender.community/c/rightclickselect/K5cbbc/ blender.community/c/rightclickselect/1Ldbbc/
I create a topic were are a better explanation of how we can improve drivers. blenderartists.org/t/bounding-box-driver/1202163
* @Josephbburg * I think he wants to drive something based on the object's dimensions, which can't be done at the moment.
