Sculpt Clone brush
I think it would be cool to have a way to quickly generate a brush texture from a part of your sculpture.
How would this work: it would be a clone brush, you Alt+click on an area of your sculpture, with the size of the brush you want to generate (white in the image), This would automatically generate a displacement map (with some camera distance/ tangential to the geometry or just from camera view) and assign it to the brush.
then you could use that as a new brush texture, until you do another one!
this sounds so obvious that probably there is something like this already, or someone else also suggested, but here it is!

This brush is really good.
I use a lot in 2d programs the clone tool, you could quickly reuse parts of your sculpture. If by the end of next year nobody develops this brush maybe I try.
@sebastianmroy: wow man thank you :) I believe that would definitely be a great tool, I would see myself enjoy sculpting much more, specially for some speed sculpts :)
This is a great idea, but I bet it'd be very difficult to do.
@Josephbburg: It might be since im not a programmer, but the way I see it, it should not be that hard, if the gradient is based on camera angle, and mouse/brush position, it is just a node that calculates the distance from camera. it was easy to do with a simple node setup. Of course, automating that should be harder indeed.
This would be a super useful tool
I need this sclupt right now xD :D
basicallly zbrush xtractor brush by the way I do support the idea
