Option to continue displaying viewport initial render while displaying new render on the newly assigned region.

Hello guys. I would like to propose a feature that would allow the program to continue displaying the initial render in the viewport while at the same time updating the newly assigned render region to crop.

This would be very helpful in comparing renders while at the same time using less tiles to render.

▬Currently when you assign a new render region in blender, the old render preview is removed and replaced with the newly assigned render region. 444

▬The proposed feature would allow the program to pause/temporarily save the old render preview while at the same time updating the render preview where the render region is newly assigned. 333

▬This is the newly assigned render region with an updated material parameter for the wheels and tires. 222

▬This is the the old/initial render preview with the old material parameter. 111

Thanks.
