Mathematical Expression option in Math node

Alongside the different operations available in the Math Node in both Geo nodes and Shader nodes, it will be good to add another option that lets us write a mathematical expression directly.

There can be a “New” button which will add more input sockets ( or you can create the input functionality like the way Group Output node works ). When a wire is added to a socket, the name of the input will be shown in it as letters in a serial order starting from A, B, C, …., Z, AA, AB, etc. This will be helpful to use those respective values in the “Expression” box to create a maths expression. The expression should also have the ability to use many functions like sine , cos , pi , e , etc.

This idea was marked as a duplicate of Geometry nodes expression (Gnex ) :).

you can already have sine, cos and pi. And using separate xyz and a bunch of math node you can do everything

Sometimes you have to use too many math nodes to create a specific output. Isn’t it better to have some form of expression option (try out the math functions in Add Mesh: Extra Objects add-on) where we can easily write the maths expression in 1 line? It will eliminate the need of having too many nodes of the same kind!

This would be brilliant! There's an addon for generating math nodes from an expression, but it'd be way more useful to have a dedicated node ( github.com/baldingwizard/Blender-Addons/wiki/Dynamic-Maths-Expression )
