An option to apply the compositing to viewport render after it's complete

It would be amazing to get a somewhat live preview of any color correction, glare/glow, denoising, etc. right in the viewport.

Just give us an option to apply the composite to viewport render.

This is actually what I really wanted when I proposed AI Denoising in Viewport: blender.community/c/rightclickselect/GRdbbc/

Viewport Compositor is in the roadmap (from June 2020) for 2.91 or 2.92, which I assume covers what you describe. I would be curious about any more detail on it myself. Eevee & Viewport Roadmap

EDIT: Just saw that you had actually asked about Viewport Compositor on BA .

* @snieb * Yeah I have no idea what that actually is. It could be a rebuild of the compositor using eevee for speed, it could be what I've described here, it could be a few features that let a few more After-Effects styled tasked be achieved directly in the 3d viewport (blending mode interaction between the pixels of 3d objects without having to first render and then go to the compositor).

* @thinsoldier * Hm, those seem like plausible interpretations. My intuitive guess is still "Show the result of the screen-space effects you defined via the node tree in the Compositor, right there in the Eevee/Cycles 3D viewport - so you only have to switch to the Compositing workspace to change the node setup, not to preview its result on the render"? Alas, I don't have any sources to confirm this.
