Cozy way to polish Animations 👍👍

After calculating the motion path of a bone (or object), you can see a path which shows how that bone is moving through the animation.

My suggestion is to make changes to that path directly through the viewport. The orange points (which are the keyframes) to be handels. Just like we change bezier curves.

This would be a very good feature and its much more intuitive for polishing an animation.

Thankyou 😁😎😎

This has been a long-asked-for feature. Definitely something a lot of people would like to have. Unfortunately, it's not all that easy to implement.

Also, duplicate of this proposal .

I do recall a plug in for this... I'll see if I can find it.

And it probably will Offset the animation too right?

There was an addon inside blender called motion trail. github.com/sambler/myblendercontrib/blob/master/animation_motion_trail.py

* @luja19 * Thanks , didn't know about this addon, its a little bit of buggy but still, its working good ✌

YES! These paths should be editable right in the viewport.

There's something like this in Maya, but not with handles. I'd like to see this feature in Blender. But of course, you still should use the good ol' graph editor alongside this feature.

* @Josephbburg * There are native animation paths that show in the viewport, also not editable - it's a two step process (control select, bake curve) - but to make them editable would be great.
