3D Cursor Rotation is severely underused
"EditMode:Mesh>Snap>CursorToSelected" should also align the 3D Cursor rotation to the selected geometry.
Currently, it seems like the Cursor rotation is only modified if the cursor is placed by clicking. Adding Rotation functionality to "Cursor To Selected" would be very useful for precisely orienting Objects to specific geometry areas in another object. For example, one could place the cursor exactly in the center of a face while also storing the normal. Or store the normal of multiple faces at once (which I don't think is currently possible?).
Also there should be an easier way to align object rotation to the cursor rotation. "Selection to Cursor" only affects the position of the object (even if the cursor has a rotation stored)

i made quite a proposal about this over a month ago:
Cursor to Selected - with rotation — Right-Click Select
