* @IIIFGIII * Majority of people don't customize their theme and many softwares have black title bar. It will be good if blender has black title bar too. And even if someone wants a different colour, they can do any customization they need.

* @Prime925 * I think its good that they comply with the OS default on something like this. it can be very irritating if every app has a slightly different looking title bar.

* @Prime925 * So Blender have to override windows system shit? Bahahah...

If majority of people can't just go to Personalize-> Colors and choose Dark theme, probably it does not matter for such people what color has blender window bar....

* @Prime925 * Current Blender's tittle bar is managed by Your OS in 100% and Blender does not have control over color:

Fact that other softwares that have control over it is by side effect of that they implement their own title bar. Blender devs would like to have it too, but actual features are priority over that little QOL things like that right now.

I just use Alt + Return as a Toggle Window Fullscreen shortcut. I have no need to see the title bar and waste few pixels.

Looks like if you use Dark mode on windows the title bar i still the white version.

I've made a proposal some times ago that addressed it : blender.community/c/rightclickselect/pddbbc/

Support for dark window title bars on Windows.

Since Windows 10 1809, Microsoft has provided an API for modifying only the color of the window title bar.
