add solid viewport color mode-> 'collection color' and 'BSDF base color'
It would be super handy if it would be possible to show the solid shading viewport color based on the object's collection color. It would be fantastic to group certain things when designing (for example when designing the floors of a building it could be useful to group objects on floor level) It would make sense to visually align this in the viewport, showing the similar color of the collection, making it instantly obvious certain objects are in the wrong collection.
Another feature that would be very useful is to preview the material colors from the BSDF shader in the solid shading viewport. I saw this requested before but I decided to repeat it here as this needs to become a reality. Especially useful for people working on low performance machines as material preview mode can sometimes become slow quite fast.

Related problem is on post: The problem of related relations and dynamic/static values for objects (map of relations - nodes)
Additionally I also proposed the option to use collection colors for keyframes. If you think that more collection color coding in blender would be a good thing please upvote this as well. Thank you.

I was aware of that post. Maybe I should delete the base color idea from this proposal? I didnt see the collection color idea before

* @IIIFGIII * Ok, thanks! I will leave it as is for now.
