Geometry node in VSE

Geometry node as soo useful… and they would be even more useful if they could be used also in the VSE editor. For now, when adding a new modifier for a strip, one can only select from a list of 7 modifiers, it would be great to add an option that allows to create new modifiers in a geometry-node like fashion, and providing inputs to this new home-made clip modifier.

For instance, I'd like to create a geometry node-like setup to apply a specific post-processing to a clip (apply a mask on some parts, change color etc) that may accept additional inputs, like the masks to use, the new color to use etc. I wish one could also concatenate two videos in this kind of Geometry node-like setups.

This is related to blender.community/c/rightclickselect/jcbbbc/ but this is more general, as this would also allow to re-use node setups as each clip could specify new inputs etc.

I think you mean compositing nodes for VSE strips. Although in the meantime you can sort of get that by splitting the strips you need composiging nodes for in a different scene, and do a comp on that scene.
