Switch Move/Rotate/Scale seamlessly

I wish I could enable a seamless-transform mode (with a key-modifier) that lets me switch between the three transforms without the need of clicking to confirm the action. E.g. I select an object, press G to move it around, then (I realize I need to rotate it) press R and rotate it - and the object doesn't reverts to its starting position but keeps the first move transform! - then when I'm pleased with the rotation, I can press again G and tweak further the position, then I press S to tweak the scale... and so on... Every transformation adds to the previous with no need of mouseclick confirmation. At the end, when I press Enter or click to confirm, the whole process would be a single transformation in Blender history.

You can do this in the keymap. There are two transform operators now, and with the instant no-confirm one, you can do this. Should be a default. I'm trying to get it as a default with Bforartists:

Also make sure you turn off "Confirm on Release" on that operator. {attachment bforartists_2019-02-06_19-54-37png}

* @Andres Stephens - Trinumedia * Not the same thing I'm proposing here, maybe i didn't explain it clearly enough. In a nutshell, the workflow I was talking about would be one click to select an object, then G, R or S, moving mouse, G-R-S, moving mouse, etc, then a final click to confirm all the transforms. This is a very shorcut-centric workflow, based on having a hand on the mouse, and the other one the keyboard, so that you can achieve difficult and long tweakings faster using both hands at the same time, without the need of alternating clicks and mouse movements

I see. * @ Lsscpp * With the new Click drag hotkey features of 2.8, I have also found a way where you can assign the same hotkey to the transform widget + legacy hotkey transform. Meaning, when you tap the key, it turns on the transform widget, which keeps you in that mode. If you use the hotkey like the traditional way, you still do immediate move.

Eg. W(G) = widget transform activation (no click drag anywhere to move, no hotkey) W(G) clickdrag = instant transform without need o activating the widget

I forgot to mention tyhat this is intended for shortcut-centric workflow

The new Transform tool can do this, although it doesn't save it as one transformation. Although you have to use the more clunky style of editing which consists of clicking on the specific handle of what you want to edit.
