Triangulate Remesh and Modifier (Decimation)

To be Clear, this Post is a Duplicate of this Idea, that is posted 4 years ago.
but I think I could Explain it better that what is really needed.

  1. For modeling a cloth and simulating it in high quality we need this kind of mesh with the Curve patterns of cloths. there is a bunch of add-ons that abandoned and not working with latest Blender anymore.

  1. For Cut Out 2D animation with Image plane there is really a big need of triangulate re-mashing. again there is a few Add-ons out there but you can't relay on.

It seems that Tesselate texture plane is compatible to current Blender versions. Maybe contact its developer if you need help getting it working.
The other one, the developer started working on a 2.80 compatibility branch three years ago but never fully released it. Maybe give it a try, or contact the dev about it.

  • Yes, the Tesselate Texture Plane works quite well...
  • the bpy triangle as you mentioned not updated for so long and if you can update it, that would be so cool.
