Quad view sync
Never mind... making a new thread, I can't push new idea to the top.
I tried many times to use the Quadview, but it brings more work than productivity. In my case it's because I have to keep panning the other views to see what I'm working on. If I pan the perspective view, I need to make the same work at least 2 times with the lock option. It's even worse if I put it on a secondary monitor, having to switch all the time to pan.
My suggestion is to make some kind of automatic sync. Whenever I select something, be that a vertex or an object, the other views would automatically center on that. I don't know how but somewhere (probably below the option to toggle the Quadview) we'd have options of centering, similar to snap (vertex, face, object, active).
What do you guys think?

and toggle for synchronous zoom in/out please!
Sync’ng should be the default, I think. Although having 4 view-points is not a problem to my brain, having 4 view targets is. When you pan in the xy view, the x should pan synchronously in the xz view and the y should pan synchronously in the yz view. Panning in the perspective view should pan all three other views, along the projected axes. Those restrictions would keep everything in sync automatically.
