Curves of Graph Editor in Viewport
IK is the best for linear motions, however I noticed that in conjunction with the Graph Editor you can smooth it's path in a way that may be easy to substitute FK.
With the ease of use that IK offers to pose and the naturalness that editing the motions with the graph editor, I propose developing the following:
A 3D visualization of the curves (XYZ) in a single bezier curve!
Extracting them from the graph editor and showing them in the viewport just like a normal bezier curve, giving the user the capability of editing all the axis directly from the viewport

Isn't that motion paths ? It's available on any object or bone, it's nothing specific to IK chains.
There's an addon for having editable ones, and maybe an out-of-the-box solution is planned in the animation 2025 project or later.
But for sure, it's been requested a bunch of times already:
Oh it's exactly it, edit the motion path in the viewport! Sorry I only searched something similar to the title, I haven't thought of searching about editable motion path...
I'm anxious to see it in Blender, I've seen the Maya example from the first link and it makes animating way more easy.
Should I mark this feature as a duplicate then?
This might be a great idea but I can't imagine how this will look and work. Can you add some mockups?
Sure! For now I'm busy with some work, but later I'll make prints and edit them to present what I have in my mind.
