Hello Are there any plans to introduce SVG support in Blender

Am I unable to find it or is there truly no support for .SVG files in blender? Furthermore, perhaps add support for more vector graphics formats? .PDF?

I'm creating a blender EXPORTER for SVG.. you can try it (select one or more curves and export them as one svg file) github.com/kostex/blenderscripts/blob/master/KTX_ExportToSVG.py

This really isn't a proposal in its current form. You need to be a lot more specific. There are already proposals here for [SVG texture support]( blender.community/c/rightclickselect/RCbbbc/%7D and importing SVGs as Grease Pencil objects ... in addition to the fact that you can already import SVGs as curve objects and export Freestyle lines as SVG.

So, what specifically are you proposing?

Blender already can import .svg and with freestyle render can export too. PDF is now a Open format? i think will be supported as well when storyboard workflow will be added in Grease Pencil

* @NiCapp * PDF (Very similar to Postscript) was standardised in 2008 and does not require a licence to implement.

If Freestyle can export SVG, you can use Inkscape to convert to PDF!

I often try to import (vector) PDFs via Inkscape ( or various command line tools). I seldom have any success as neither Inkscape nor Blender can cope with the size of Vector PDFs even with a high spec PC. This applies to both windows and linux. Any improvement here would be very welcome.
