Add GPU option when Baking Fluids
In my job I have an awesome GPU 3070RTX and a not so awesome CPU... baking takes a lot of time... It would be nice if I could use both when baking in order to save time
This idea was marked as a duplicate of Use GPU for fluid simulation baking!.

definetly an awsome feature, but a lot of work to do, especialy if you want to support both OpenCL and CUDA. It's not just an option to add, but would need a whole rewrite of the baking.
Using the GPU would only really be useful (for the majority of users) to do low-quality tests since they usually have less VRAM than RAM.
For high-quality simulations you need above 8GB of VRAM/RAM.
I have to disagree
With this project: youtu.be/XV1iPI3oY6o you can do pretty much any scale of simulation cuz when it's out of VRAM it keeps simulating on the GPU using regular RAM. It's much slower than on the VRAM but still way ahead of the CPU computing. Still in early development phase tho
