Search option in the "Add" menu.
In the "add" menu we have more and more things so we need to access them faster. just like in the "Shader Editor" that has a search option. Thank You.

Yes, Shift + a and then just start typing for search. But we still want to be able to click in the meny.
I was just about to add this request too. It drives me mad that I always end up in the surface sub menu! :D
This has been suggested many times. I made one several months ago.
Also i suppose it can be made with addon, that adds this option and calls general search with prefilled word «all» like this {attachment 2123535jpg}
{attachment 2110532jpg} May be, if search will work strictly inside list of all that can be added. Otherwise general search can do the same.
