Modifier to multiple objects
Hi! I'm about to move from C4D to Blender. It's fun to learn and there are a lot of things in Blender that I like more than in C4D. But one thing I'm really missing in Blender.
When I add a modifier object in C4D to an object (also to an empty object) it effects all the objects in the hierarchy. It would be great to have an option like this in Blender. Or something like a link modifier that link the modifier from another object so I wouldn't have to change the values for every single object I want to effect when I want to change something. Or to keyframe it. Probably it won't work for every modifier but some of them could maybe have a button like "Affect hierarchy".
Would be great if I could deform a complete collection/ hierarchy of objects for example with the wave or displacement modifier or smooth everything with just one subdivision surface modifier.

Ok, i found a proposal which is exactly what I wanted to describe but better: blender.community/c/rightclickselect/Rcbbbc/ The post seems to be a bit old but still needed.
* @franz i. * I made the same type of proposal long time ago. I also coming from c4d and i think that would be necessary feature. blender.community/c/rightclickselect/Jvcbbc/
* @diegolamaslopez * There seems to be a few proposals for this feature. The link I posted in my comment is pretty similar to yours. In C4D I used this all the time.
