Hi, not sure if these are big changes in terms of work but they would certainly help a lot of people:

  • I saw that light linking was discussed at the recent cycles meeting so thats nice :)
  • Collections with transforms could be a helpful thing for many: blender.community/c/rightclickselect/v9fbbc/
  • I would love some physics improvements but thats more a long term thing.. There are good right click proposals for muscles sims and more..
  • A view or profiler that tells me what objects slows down the scene?

Have fun and i might need to learn spanish just to chip in your next stream..

Hi Pablo, hope you have a nice day! I'm sure, this was asked before, but are there plans to implement a faster gpu accelerated , possibly even realtime fluid simulation system?

Hola Pablo!

It's time again to use the transcendental powers of your live streams to give a shout-out to features that are already in development, in this case a future life-saver for scenes with tons of assets.

Selecting contents of hierachies in the Outliner with dbl-click: projects.blender.org/blender/blender/issues/99275

This feature started development before 3.3, didn't make it on time neither for 3.4 and 3.5... Is 3.6 gonna be the home for this baby? Thank you and enjoy your mate!

Hello Pablo, I was wondering if there are any plans to incorporate nodes from Geometry Nodes into Shader Nodes, specifically the Switch Node and the Scene Time Node?

Hi Pablo!

Do you think in the future we will get more and also different kinds of assets that are included in the essentials bundle? Would be really awesome to get some basic meshes and different materials directly shipped with Blender.

I think this is something that Unreal does a pretty good job with their Quixel Bridge. No need to manually get certain assets from someplace on the internet, everything is just directly accessible inside the software itself.

Would be awesome if Blender takes the same direction with their pre-shipped assets...

I wish you would bring a light link, we really need it. maybe it can be added as an addon. so that those who work with usd do not add it. but only static architectural visualizations can add it.

oi, pablo!~ as 3.5 nears, are we still waiting on AMD to give us the promised 3.5 build of hip-rt? it's really odd they have radeon prorender, but can't manage an rt driver for blender.

Hi Pablo! Is there some design in development for more intuitive selection in geometry nodes? Right now selection in geometry nodes is more mathematical based which is good in some cases but many times we need more direct approach to select vertices, edges and faces. (for procedural modeling or user input for example)

I have found this solution from one developer devtalk.blender.org/t/indices-selection-node-to-approve/25691 and created Idea to discuss more practical approach or to simply enhance/complete his approach to fit Blender logic more. blender.community/c/rightclickselect/wryM/

P.S: Vertex group is not sufficient enough because its applicable only on base mesh and this new solution would apply selection in node tree itself.

Have a nice evening and thanks.

Howdy pardner. On one of the last episodes befor christmas I asked about axis colors , but did not explain myself very well. I found this post on RCS that explains it better and commented my own thoughts on the post.

What does your humongous intellect think of such a proposal?

It's been considered for graph editor! projects.blender.org/blender/blender/issues/104867

Hi Pablo! Hope you are doing well.

For the blender.chat/channel/blender-coders , the "sign in to start talking button" doesn't work anymore. Any idea? Cheers!
