thanks for the tutorial, but this to me just show how BROKEN the bend modifier is. It should not be this complicated. Minimum time spent on any other DCC app and you will find more intuitive Bend modifiers, I do hope this is addressed at some point.

Having just spent 3hrs 25 minutes trying to bend something that I thought would take only 2 I can only agree with the comments below and also give a giant thumbs up to the video above

I used Blender for years and this modifier is always a pain to get it work. Just now I understand how. But not why it must be so complicated.
