Hi Pablo, do you know if simulation nodes will be in Blender 3.5?
I´m asking, because it was in Blender 3.5 Alpha and isn´t avaible in the Beta.
You´re making an excelent job.
Keep going👍

Hola Pablo, saludos desde Madrid.
first of all it seems that Jorijn de Graaf is working on the retopo overlay

, any news about new modeling tools for retopo? on a side note it seems that Blender, and Andrew Price's Donut, have been named by the Everything Everywhere All at Once vfx team in the BBC because the Bafta >

Hi Pablo! It would be possible to have a index input exposed in nodes with a list dropdown? Maybe it would be good to select them proceduraly. Thanks... :)

Ahoy there matey! Over the weekend I tried using application handlers to run an operation every time the frame changes. It works well in the viewport and when using viewport render animation, but not when actually rendering an animation. I've tried both frame_change_pre and frame_change_post. Do you have a take on this? Is it a known issue or sumn?

Hi can you check in the python channel if this is a bug or an error in the script. If it is a bug you should make a small example showing the issue and report it!

Hi Pablo, I hope you have a nice day. First of all, many thanks for your videos, so inspiring (and informative).
I have a question about the Asset Manager as I think there is some sort of a flaw the way it works to import stuff in the scene. When we choose to "Append" a Collection asset, it doesn’t really append the asset collection but make an instance, so we have to make the geometry real and then clean the empty. But doing so, we loose possible hierarchy and, the worst to me, we also loose all the animation data, especially drivers. I know that the way the way instances are actualized is under (slow-paced) discussion (
projects.blender.org/blender/blender/issues/81577
) but in the meantime, would it be possible to have a proper append option in the asset manager for collections or, at least, to rename the button another way as it is a bit confusing compared to actual appending from the menu ?

Thanks for your answer, Pablo. I have made the simplest proposal I could think about to resolve the problem in
Right Click Select
as you have proposed.

Hi Yann! If I am understanding correctly I believe I have a solution. It's funny, because I'm pretty sure what Pablo was describing is already in place.
After dragging in (appending) your collection from the asset browser open up the adjust last operation menu in the bottom left of the viewport. Within that menu there should be an "Instance" checkbox. Just uncheck that and you should get your collection with the original hierarchy. I have not tested this with animation data.
I do feel this option is relatively hidden though. It made me crazy for the longest time. It should be in a more visible place or perhaps even in the asset manager itself.

Oh yes, you’re right, thanks a lot. I have looked through many places but not this one. I will amend my Right-Click Select proposal.
