Alt + D should highlight address bar text in file browser

When in the file browser, pressing "Alt + D" should highlight the address bar. This is standard in Chrome, Firefox, and Windows File Explorer. I typically have paths copied to my clipboard and it is much faster to navigate to them by pasting them into the address bar than it is navigating through the GUI manually. The standard "Alt + D" shortcut to highlight the address bar would make this much easier for me. Here's a video showing what I mean. Every time you see the title bar become highlighted, I am pressing "Alt + D". As you can see, it does nothing in Blender. youtube.com/watch

I agree. Alt + D should be a shortcut key to highlight the address bar. As it is pretty common in every other software program. It will save time on these small steps.

I think it should be Ctrl+L because that's how it is in literally every other program, including some of the ones you mentioned (such as chrome and windows explorer). Also, this is a duplicate of several other proposals already on RCS.

* @testure * Either way, there just needs to be a keyboard shortcut for it. I did not realize that this proposal already existed. I don't find anything when I search for it.
