Hey Pablo
can you please tell me how much bl Blender of the opportunity was the cost and profitability of the ralization
Loop cut in edit mode for surface object:
blender.community/c/rightclickselect/v86n/
will Blender have a grease pencil metaball that can be worked with like a 3D metaball.
Thank you very much Pablo.

Hey Pablo,
I've been working on a rig and I want to add a switch that turns something on and off in the shader editor. I can currently do that using drivers and mix nodes. But there is a downside to that because I'm not actually muting those nodes the nodes are still being compiled, and slow down performance(in eevee). As far as I can tell you can't mute nodes with drivers; is there any solution to this problem?

Hi Pablo,
does the new hair system currently support "Convert to Mesh"? they are curves, when added a bevel profile curve via geometry node, convert to mesh does not seem to do anything. if not, I am sure it will support it soon.
any update regarding the retopology mode? such as proper shader and snapping. there is not much info ever since Jon Denning starts to work on Retopo in Jan.
Is there any plan to allow for offsetting specific UV channels? Currently you can offset all UV's when you have a mirror modifier, but there's no way to select just, or some of them.
You can kind of work around that with the UV warp modifier, but if you have connecting faces that are mirrored or overlapped, and you try to separate them with mirrored vertex groups, you end up with massive shearing because the faces that need to be separated in the UV's still share the same vertexes.
I was hoping something like Face Maps were integrated with the Modifiers through Vertex groups, but right now they're not, so there's no way to procedurally move around specific UV's that are connected.
Thank you!

Hey Pablo,
This is not about Blender itself but more like the Blender YT channel. Just like there are different sections in the Blender YT channel called "Made with Blender ","Official Blender Open Movies" etc. Can you please add the section called uploads? So, people can watch all the videos uploaded to Blender YT channel at once, would be much appreciated.
Also, any update on the Groups in Blender and also node-based physics/ particle system and the new texture system?
Thanks.

Hello Pablo!
What's the point of asking peoople for feature requests if those requests are either ignored or tagged as "In Development" and then abandoned?
Hi pablo on reddit I found this addon called dream texture that allows to generate textures using ai and stable diffusion techniques. Others can also increase the resolution of a rendered image.
Does blender have any plan to integrate this kind of technologies by default or for the moment is it left as a plug-in thing only? Thanks!

Hola Pabz! :D Hope you're having an awesome day! My question - any updates on:-

Oi, Pablo!
Have you seen the new Intel ARC stuff for blender? how do you feel about OneAPI-think it'll catch on? any in depth info about it that intel didn't share in their top-level look??
They seem to have proper ray tracing cores, which is impressive if they can manage more than 16 gigs of VRAM (here's to hoping, my sims always demolish my memory.)
Also, it's been a while, but I think the 3d tracker might need some attention. It seems to have trouble with tracking actual cinema high contrast trackers and dots. maybe a preprocessing filter would be nice, like being able to use a compositor output!
Thank you for the stream! Always love seeing how Blender's getting better and better every week!

Hola Pablo and community! Hope you are all having a good day.
Are there any news on custom default file management, so we can develop more robust workflow options? I wish I could sync them over the Blender Cloud addon like we do with startup files. Plus, sometimes it gets annoying when I have to set things up again when updating versions (or when trying nightly or alfa versions).
Another thing: is there anything on procedural texture generation? I don't mean just shading, but for things like geo nodes as well. Having proper support for dedicated node setups for textures would be mighty useful for things like visualizing the texture before using it with geo nodes, and even having a texture driving things on both shading and geo nodes at the same time.

Hello Pablo, hope you are doing well!
Are there any updates to this plan? code.blender.org/2022/02/layered-textures-design/ I haven't really seen any actual development in this direction, but maybe I'm just not looking in the right place.
Thank you for the stream! Always love seeing how Blender's getting better and better every week!
